  • Child under 18 years of age
  • Child between 18-26, who is unmarried and dependent on the main applicant
  • Parents and grandparents above 55 years of age dependent on the main applicant
  • Child over 18 years of age, physically or mentally challenged

What is the “Qualifying Criteria” to be eligible to apply for the Malta Citizenship Program?

A

The following are the Qualifying Criteria for the main applicant and dependents:

  • Each applicant must make a non-refundable financial contribution to the government of Malta
  • Main applicant must either purchase or lease a property for 5 years
  • Main applicant must invest in government bonds or in bonds/securities listed on the Malta Stock Exchange
  • All applicants must satisfy a residency requirement of 12 months in Malta before being eligible for grant of citizenship
  • Each applicant must be covered by a Global Health Insurance Policy of a minimum of € 50,000
  • All applicants must provide Police Certificates for each country in which they have lived for more than 6 months in the last 10 years.

No. All applications for Malta Passport by Investment must be made through an Accredited Agent only.
