Malta Permanent Residence Programme (MPRP)
- New program launched in April 2021 (old program discontinued)
- Have capital assets of EURO 500,000, of which EURO 150,000 must be held in the form of securities
- Property Purchase Option : EURO 370,000 – 420,000 (including donation, Administration fees and Government fees)
- Property Lease Option : EURO 150,000 – 160,000 (including donation, Administration fees and Government fees)
- There is an additional non-refundable government fee payable for each dependent over 18 years of age
- No age, education, business/work experience or language requirements
- Can live, work and do business anywhere in Malta
- A Residency program that allows 4 generations of family to apply
- No minimum residency requirements
- Right to reside, settle or stay in Malta, together with one’s dependents, for life
- Visa-free travel to Schengen area
- Processing Time : 4 – 6 months
Citizenship
- New updated Maltese Exceptional Investment Naturalisation (MEIN) – Citizenship by Investment program introduced in November 2020.
- Pay a EURO 610,000 non-refundable deposit (for citizenship after 3 years of residency) OR a EURO 760,000 non-refundable deposit (for citizenship after 1 year of residency) to the government
- Pay a EURO 50,000 fee for each family member
- Purchase a residential property in Malta for a minimum value of EURO 700,000 (can sell property after 5 years of naturalisation) or take on lease a residential property in Malta for a minimum annual rent of EURO 16,000 (the lease should be held for a period of at least 5 years after naturalisation)
- Make a philanthropic donation of EURO 10,000 to an approved agency
- You can include 4 generations of family in your application
- The main applicant and all family members must have health insurance
- You should have been denied a visa by any country with which Malta has a visa-free arrangement
- Citizenship is for life and can be passed on to future generations

REQUIREMENTS
- Main applicant must be at least 18 years of age
- All applicants over 14 years of age must have no criminal record
- All applicants must be in good health
- Each applicant must have full Malta medical insurance
- Must have a strong financial standing and clear source of funds
- You should not have been denied a visa by any country with which Malta has a visa-free agreement
- You can only submit applications through a Malta approved accredited agent
